The five situations we see most
Most people who come to us are in one of five situations. The right next step depends on your situation, not your industry. Here is each situation, in plain terms, and what the first move usually is.
- The Prototyper
- You proved the idea with a no-code, AI-assisted, or quick first build. It works just well enough, and now it is hitting the ceiling. The next step is a production-grade rebuild on a foundation that holds as real users arrive.
- Running on spreadsheets
- A core part of the business lives in a spreadsheet or an Access database. The logic is tangled, the author may have moved on, and one wrong paste breaks things. It's time to move it to something with real fields, permissions, and an audit trail.
- Fighting your platform
- You bought into a platform and now the platform is the problem: you cannot get clean data out, customisations stack on customisations, and you pay per seat for things you do not use. The first move is getting your data into a database your team owns.
- AI-curious, not AI-ready
- You want AI in the daily flow of work, not a chatbot bolted to the corner. The honest blocker is usually the data underneath, not the model. Get the foundation right and the same AI gets far more reliable.
- The solo polymath
- You run the whole business yourself across a stack of tools that do not talk to each other. The cost is the context-switching between tabs. You want a cockpit that pulls it together, not another CRM to feed.
Whichever situation you're in, the fix starts the same way: get your data onto a foundation you own, then build the right thing on top of it. See how we work, or see Devinium Hub if you run the whole thing yourself.
